I'm so excited about the release of Priscilla Shirer's new book, The Resolution for Women, that I've decided to give away 5 copies of the book. I truly believe God inspired and divinely designed this book to be released for such a time as this, so I'm excited! I'm excited because I believe it can really change the lives of God's women, thereby changing society as we know it. Imagine if the women of this world became resolved to live a life for God on purpose. Imagine if you and I became convinced of our true worth, value and impact on this world. Do you know that you have the power to change this world!??? Yes! YOU! Imagine how our young girls lives would be changed. Imagine how many marriages could be healed. Imagine how many relationships, among women in particular, could be built and used for the Kingdom of God. Oh, the things we could accomplish for God!! I'm so excited for you! Can you tell??? This is a wonderful opportunity for you to change your life. Me too!
So, since I am soooo excited and passionate about as many people as possible having the opportunity experience this book, I've decided to host a giveaway! I would love to share a copy of the book with 5 resolved women. Is that you? All you have to do to enter the give away is leave a comment on this post telling us what you have become resolved to do. That way we can all partner, pray and push you in your resolved life. The giveaway will close Sunday evening, 9/18, and I will use a random number generator to pick the winners. Winners will be posted on the blog no later than Monday Morning.
The book discussion will start October 1st. That will give you enough time to read and meditate on the content and allow God to speak personally to you. I can't wait for you to share how the principles of the book affect your life. Okay, can I just say it one more time....I'm so excited!!!!!
Have a great day!
Nicole

What you have become resolved to do:
ReplyDeleteI resolved to allow the surfacing of my inner woman of God!!!!
To demonstrate what my heart holds, to be seen beyond this outter shell.
I resolved to continue to allow God to examine my heart and expose any gaps. To spend time building onto our relationship and replenishing my desire to be the woman he has called me to be.
Resolved to cherish all that God has done for me while getting the understanding of each and every opportunity presented to me.
My commitment in staying focused is in direct connection with the spiritual growth God has allowed me to encounter.
Making a positive difference in the lives of others is a priority in my life.
I am one of the "chosen one's"...I RESOLVED TO RECEIVE IT!!!!
Sincerely,
Brenda Bryant

I am resolved to be the woman God has called me to be. To go beyond myself to be a better sister, friend, mother and wife. I am resolved to tap into a greater intimacy with God. I want to reach Him so that there is no doubt that anyone can see I have a relationship with the Lord. I am resolved to be a better student. To grow deeper in my ministry and be there for others. Many times I hold back or change my mind on many things but I vow to at least try to move forward on my notions.
ReplyDeleteBless the Lord and I love you!

Hi Nicole,
ReplyDeleteI think I subscribed to the "reply" comments on Going Beyond 'cause it looks like I'm hearing from people I didn't contact. But that's ok, because now I get to know and meet people I wouldn't have otherwise.
I'm doing to book club too :-)
Hey Angela! Wow! Really? Did you list your email address on the site? I got a few emails also but I figured it was because I signed up for a pen pal. Thanks for stopping by! Looking forward to getting to know you.
ReplyDeleteHey Girl,
ReplyDeleteI resolve to live life on purpose without reservations. As I ponder, stumble, walk, zoom through this almost 37th year of my life, I am determined to live the rest of my days striving for God's unconditional love to be present in me.
Now with that being said and the combo of my personality that translates to telling people "no", "not at this time" , " that's your purpose, not mine" and " I love and support you but what does God really say about that thing?"
My goal of living life on purpose is showing that sincere, unconditional love of God in the face of triumph and defeat. Phillipians 4:12, 13 have become my dearest friends. And it is my heart's desire to live in that beautifully spoken word. I resolve to tarry there. -- On PURPOSE!
I resolve and desire to have a closer relationship with God.

I resolve to be a better me, whether it be a loyalty to my friends, being supportive to my family, or spending more time with God. Despite what obstacles life bring my way it is my desire to be better than I was the day before :-)

I resolve to take OWNERSHIP!!
ReplyDeleteHello First Lady Nicole, I have a righteous resolve to always stay connected to the Father, and to always walk in LOVE!...
ReplyDeleteResolve:
ReplyDeleteToday I resolve to become a better person and take my rightful place in society. I resolve to stop allowing my circumstances to hinder my Blessings and accept responsibility for my actions. I resolve to understand my Burdens and continue to walk on the road of Faith to get what GOD has for me. I resolve the lies of the devil and rebuke for trying to steal my Glory. I resolve to close my past and accept my future. I resolve to stop running and accept that GOD will and purpose for my life will be showen to me. I resolve to not allow my sickness to weaken my belief that GOD will take care of me. Today I resolve the old woman-child of Charmane and accept that I am a Child created in his eyes and his favor. I resolve my enemies and make them my stepping stones. Today I resolve all past hurt, frustrations and pain and Allow No Weapon Formed Against me Shall Proper. I'm a ongoing process and I will continue to walk in his Grace and Mercy because without him I could not resolve the person I use to be.
I resolve to follow the vision God implanted in me to give spiritual/godly counsel to His people and to help the children of America and Kenya by arming myself with knowledge and testing certifications to help educate the people of both nations on HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention. I resolve to do my part to help save this world...one child at a time.
